Star-Studded Stone
Critically acclaimed dramady Eli Stone is shaping up to have one hell of a star-studded year this season. After hearing news that creator and executive producer, Greg Berlanti begged his fellow Dawson’s Creek alum Katie Homes, to guest on the show’s second season. We have now learned that cinema superstar Sigourney Weaver has also signed on to guest as a therapist for the title character when it returns in the US fall season.
It’s no secret that the show’s ratings were anything but great during its debut season. So any more stunt casting to pick up a few more eyeballs is fine by me, if it means it’ll keep this little gem on the air a little longer.
Eli Stone returns for its second season October 14, on ABC in the US. Its expected to premiere in Australia later this year on Seven.
