Conchords’ Last Flight
Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, the New Zealand comedy duo behind the HBO comedy Flight of the Conchords, recently told British music magazine Q, that the upcoming second season will likely be their last.
Despite the Emmy nominated show having a hugely successful run on HBO last season, the two hope to pursue other interests, including possible acting roles in some upcoming high profile films.
“The second series seems to me like it would be a good end to the show. I feel like another 10…That will be enough,” McKenzie said.
Flight of the Conchords returns for its second season next year on HBO.
