More Stone For Alphabet
October 15, 2008 in Headliners by Cameron

According to EW scoop-master, Michael Ausiello. ABC has ordered four additional episodes of second year legal dramedy Eli Stone.
“It’s an incredible vote of confidence”, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said. ”I had told ABC that in order to keep production rolling, I would need to know by Wednesday. I figured at the very least that would give them a day’s worth of ratings to analyze. And they were like, ‘Nope, we’ll just order them now.’”
So that brings Stone‘s production total to 17 episodes, not a complete back-9 (full season order, 22 episodes), but it’s a great start, considering the second season premieres today. Hopefully as people start to tune in, it’ll get that full season pick up that it so totally deserves.
Also, keep an eye out for a plethora of celebrity spottings this season on Stone. Katie Holmes, Seal and Sigourney Weaver headline this years major guest spots, not to mention probably some more George Michael appearances.
Eli Stone airs Tuesdays, 10/9c on ABC. The show is still yet to make its debut locally on Seven.
