The CW Privileged Whilst NBC Divided
October 21, 2008 in Headliners by Richie
Joanna Garcia fans rejoice! Hollywood reporter reports The CW has ordered a couple more scripts of its new fall show, Privileged. The show is based on the book ‘How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls’ and has garnered soft ratings with its four episodes so far. However, as the show targets the audience that the network is geared towards, Privileged has been given more time to build an audience. If ratings improve, the show will definitely be given its back nine episodes.
The latest episode netted 2.3M up 23% from previous showings coupled with an 18% improvement in Women 18-34.
Meanwhile in other news, NBC has ordered the back nine episodes of Knight Rider. Even though the show has been critically bashed, it does well in the male 18-34 demo (which includes me
). However, there isn’t much life left in Life, industry sources have apparently heard Universal Media Studios rejected NBC’s order for more scripts.
