Kath & Kim Anything But Axed

In an interesting turn of events, the American adaptation of Kath & Kim has been given a full season order from NBC. The peacock announced on friday afternoon, that the comedy series had been given a back nine order.
While the show lasted only two weeks on the Seven Network, the series has continue to air on NBC behind seasoned comedy, My Name Is Earl. In the most recent airings of the Aussie adaptation, the show has continued to retain all of its lead in audience and has even managed to build upon the 18-34 demo.
During the announcement, NBC Entertainment executive Vice President Teri Weinberg spoke of the network’s ”incredible confidence” in the show and that they believe “it’s a perfect fit with [their] Thursday night comedies.”
Now the question remains, seeing as Kath & Kim seems to be going so well, will Seven give the American adaptation another go? What do you think?

Something aside:Interesting you call NBC the peacock, I always thought it looked like a flower
Anyway, Great news! Episode 3 was much better than the first two. For those who have given up, give it another go, you wont be disappointed.
As for Seven giving it another go pfffttt.. they bumped Heroes even though it gave them convincing demo wins. Id rather not rely on Seven, but I hope they do give it another go (I highly doubt it though).
BTW: I voted for yes

Haha, yeah it’s a peacock.
There’s the Peacock, the Alphabet and the Eye. Oh and of course FOX and The CW, or the green network as I like to call it.
Yeah episode three was pretty good. Not laugh out loud hilarious, but had quite few good moments. It’s starting to find its own feet, which is good.
Seven should at least play it on 7HD since they’ve already bought the rights.
