More ‘Survivor’ for 2010

Mark Burnett’s long running reality series ‘Survivor,’ has been renewed for two addition cycles next season by CBS.

Reality series Survivor has been renewed for two additional cycles next season by CBS. They will mark the 19th and 20th series of the reality competition series.

Jeff Probst, who won last year’s first Emmy Award for best reality host, will continue as host.

Survivor is one of CBS’ signature series and symbol of enduring quality and entertainment on primetime television,” CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler said.

The previous series of Mark Burnett’s hit reality show, Survivor: Gabon, averaged around 13.8 million viewers, dominating its Thursday 8 p.m. slot.
