Scott Porter (‘Friday Night Lights’) has joined Fox’s drama pilot ‘Masterwork’, which centers on a globe-trotting FBI agent (Australia’s Matt Passmore), a specialist in the acquisition of stolen art.
Porter will play another agent tracking down international art thieves and Passmore’s wingman.
Nick Kroll (‘Cavemen’) and Nora Zehetner (‘Heroes’) have landed lead roles on Fox’s comedy pilot ‘Cop House’, set at a halfway house for troubled cops.
Kroll will play an overzealous cop with an enormous ego and delusional fantasies. Zehetner will play the house psychologist, who runs group-therapy sessions.
‘Cop House’ will be directed and executive produced by Brett Ratner (‘Prison Break’, ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’).
Brit. James D’Arcy (‘Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World’) has been tapped to star on CBS’ drama pilot ‘The Eastmans’, about a complicated family of doctors.
D’Arcy will play the eldest of five Eastman children, a top vascular surgeon.
