‘Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities’ finale

The series finale of ‘Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities’ screened last night with a solid audience figure of 2.07 million viewers.

The series finale of ‘Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities’ screened last night with a solid audience figure of 2.07 million viewers.

The finale beat out Seven’s ‘Desperate Housewives’ with 1.10 million and Ten’s ‘Good News Week’ with 817,000.

Nine topped the night with an overall audience percentage of 29.1, over Seven’s 26.2, Ten’s 21.5, ABC’s 15.4 and SBS’ 7.8.

The ‘Underbelly’ finale fell short of the 2.58 million that tuned in for the series premiere, but was an improvement over the ratings slum of under 1.85 million over the past few weeks.

The Nine Network are currently in development with Screentime on a third series of ‘Underbelly’, which will bridge the gap between series two and the original.
