US dramas join Aussie schedules

Australian network execs return home from the Los Angeles screenings after picking up a number of US series.

Australian network executives are returning from the States after picking up a number of series at the annual Los Angeles screenings.

David Mott, Network Ten’s head of programming, described the slate as “the best season I’ve seen in about seven years”.

Network Ten’s pick ups include:

  • ‘The Good Wife’
  • ‘Modern Family’
  • ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’

The Nine Network will try to reinvigorate their schedule with:

  • ‘V’
  • ‘Eastwick’
  • ‘Past Life’
  • ‘The Forgotten’
  • ‘Miami Trauma’
  • ‘Hank’
  • ‘The Middle’

Joining the Seven Network’s already strong line-up are:

  • ‘FlashForward’
  • ‘Cougar Town’
  • ‘Day One’

Other potential pick ups have yet to be announced.
