Seven’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ cast announced

The new cast of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ have been unveiled, with the usual batch of singers, actors, comedians and athletes. Plus for the first time ever, a blind Paralympian.

The new cast of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ have been unveiled, with the usual batch of singers, actors, comedians and athletes. Plus for the first time ever, a blind Paralympian.

The contestants for the 2009 series of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ are:

  • Adam Brand (Country music singer)
  • Emily Scott (International swimsuit model)
  • Fiona O’Loughlin (Comedian)
  • Gerrard Gosens (Paralympian)
  • Jessica McNamee (‘Packed to the Rafters’ actress)
  • Kylie Gillies (‘The Morning Show’ co-host)
  • Layne Beachley (Professional surfer)
  • Lincoln Lewis (‘Home and Away” actor)
  • Matthew White (‘Today Tonight’ host)
  • Peter “Spida” Everitt (AFL player)
  • Rob Mills (Singer and television presenter)

To the producers : We are very un-happy with the results to-night together with the past 3 / 4 weeks.
You will have to seperate the judges scores from the public or not have the judges at all,as the technical side of dancing does not have a bearing on the results. We will not watch the next series under the present scoring system . Thank you for the opportunity to comment. K & B Brooks
