Region 1 – ‘The Lord of the Rings Trilogy’, ‘Braveheart’ and ‘Gladiator’ coming to Blu-ray

A number of new Blu-ray titles including ‘The Lord of the Rings Trilogy’, ‘Braveheart’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘Forrest Gump’, ‘Sunshine Cleaning’ and ‘Fighting’.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

We have received final specs for Blu-ray release of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, out 3rd November from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

The good news…

Tech Specs:

• 1080p transfers
• DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio.

…The bad news is that the goodies here are holdovers.

Braveheart: Sapphire Series

Paramount will release the Mel Gisbon Oscar-winner on Blu-ray on the 1st September.

Gladiator: Sapphire Series

The 1st September will also bring the Blu-ray release of this Russell Crowe actioner from Paramount.

Forrest Gump: Sapphire Series

Paramount is also readying a Blu-ray release of the Tom hanks Oscar winner.

Though title won’t be out until the 3rd November.
