‘Rexona Australia’s Greatest Athlete’ coming to Seven

The second series of ‘Rexona Australia’s Greatest Athlete’ will screen on the Seven Network in early 2010.

UPDATE: The new season of Australia’s Greatest Athlete premieres 4.30pm Saturday, February 6 on Seven.

BILLY SLATER BACK TO DEFEND HIS TITLE IN REXONA AUSTRALIA’S GREATEST ATHLETE – SERIES 2

Defending champion Billy Slater.

Rugby league superstar Billy Slater will return to take on a fresh field of tough competitors in series two of Rexona Australia’s Greatest Athlete on Channel Seven.

The series one champion will be up against some of our country’s most prominent athletes, each elite within their sporting profession. They include duel international Wendell Sailor, V8 Supercar legend Craig Lowndes and current World Champion ironman Shannon Eckstein. The remaining athletes competing will be announced in the coming weeks.

Australian sports fans will witness these awesome athletes compete in 15 different gruelling sporting challenges over eight episodes to determine who is Rexona’s Australia’s Greatest Athlete 2010.

Australian Cricket Captain Ricky Ponting will return to give viewers a real insight into athletic performance and what it takes for these sportsmen to be the best in their field.

Hosted by Mark Beretta and Tom Williams, Rexona Australia’s Greatest Athlete Series 2 will be aired on Channel Seven in early 2010.

Anyone who watched Billy Slater last year would never underestimate his outstanding athletic ability or his never say die, never give in “true blue” determination … Slater won’t treat this series any diffently and will meet and treat his fellow Aussie sportman with the utmost respect – SLATER IS #1 …

here are my two choices, if u saw billy slater last yeear u gotta have him as favourite but cameron ling is a dark horse, he can run, he is a tank and has good endurandce. its between them two.
