Hello and a small intro

Hello and welcome to the new Vampire Diaries Blog, here at TVAUSCAST. My name is Marissa and I am thrilled to join the wonderful team here, and to bring you the latest and greatest news about The Vampire Diaries (TVD). I have been a fan of the books by L. J. Smith since the early 90s, so to be here almost 20 years later, and report to all of you about the TV show, is just exciting.

I have also been known as ‘Elena’ online for the last 16 years, and I’m sure this nick name needs no explanations. What I would like to bring to you all, is not just the latest news or gossip, but also my own thoughts about each episode, and comparisons to the books. I hope to deliver everything a fan of TVD needs to keep their fix going between episodes or while reading the books.

Over the next week, I will be posting my thoughts from the pilot episode, right through to the current episode, so please don’t be shy, leave a comment or two, or tell me what you want to know about.
