The ‘Neighbours’ star is leaving the long-running Australian soap to pursuit a new career path with the army.

‘One Tree Hill’ and ‘Law & Order: SVU’ alum Michaela McManus has landed the lead role on The CW’s upcoming action pilot ‘Nomads’.

Following reports of it’s cancellation last week, FOX’s long running action drama ‘24’ could see a new lease on life at rival network NBC.
