‘Damages’ has been saved from cancellation by US satellite provider DirecTV, who’ve picked up exclusive broadcast rights for the series

NBC today announced their midseason schedule including premiere dates for ‘Parenthood’ and Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘The Marriage Ref.’ However, missing from the schedule are the sci-fi miniseries ‘Day One,’ comedy ‘100 Questions’ and sci-fi drama ‘Persons Unknown’.

NBC sources confirm that ‘Friday Night Lights’ will be back for two more seasons, through a new shared broadcast deal with DirecTV.
